We're looking for a highly-motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer interested in helping us define and implement our automation infrastructure. As part of the QA team, you are responsible for contributing to product success through testing, identifying and writing test cases, analyzing requirements, creating test plans, tracking issues, and implementing automated testing across the platform. This is a remote position but you will work side by side with developers to contribute to improving overall software quality and providing recommendations for improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop test automation infrastructure
  • Work with the Product and Development teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Create automated tests for the test cases and manually test software for which automation is not available yet.
  • Support other test areas including performance, load, security.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or an equivalent degree).
  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium Webdriver, Cypress, or equivalent)
  • Experience implementing an automation tool framework from scratch
  • Experience designing test structures that are easily maintainable, resilient, performant, and scalable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to easily work across the organization
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in RESTful API, UI, load and performance testing

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-browser testing using Browserstack
  • Experience developing on CI/CD automation platforms such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps

Salary: $75k - $90k annually, commensurate with experience
